Magluto Tayo! is a conceptual childrens’ book intended to teach children a Filipino food recipe while teaching them the language at the same time, helping them to connect with Filipino heritage and culture.

I created this book for a university project in which we had to learn something in two weeks, and then teach something using what we learned. I chose to learn the 3D software Blender, and used that to teach both the recipe leche flan and Filipino language phrases. I placed importance of clarity for children in different ways – in the usage of 3D elements, the clear style, and type formatting.

In our exhibition, I displayed the book alongside samples of leche flan I made following the recipe.
